Meet Jackson and Stone:

Our boys are the light of our lives, and we can't imagine life without them! They are so blessed to have so many people in their lives who love them unconditionally and we are just as blessed to be given the privilege to be their parents!

This blog is a chronicle of our boys lives. All the milestones, all the fun times, all the silly things they do, and all of their messes!

This blog is to keep everyone up to date and to document all of those memories of our lives together that we never want to forget!

Jackson's First Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

On Jackson's very first Christmas....we had a blast. Not to mention celebrating Christmas (many, many times with friends and family), Jackson was also lucky enough to have snow on his very first Christmas! We tried to explain how rare and awesome that was to him, but he just acted like it was no big deal! :) Here are some (actually, a lot of) pictures of my sweet baby boy over the holiday season. And...as you will see, Jackson must have been a pretty good boy this year!

"Always Jolly!"

Jackson? or my very own Christmas Elf? :)

Such a happy baby....

Awe...one tired baby! We had been partying hard! So sweet though....

....I just LOVE those cheeks! :)

Jackson was stylin' during the Christmas holidays....check out the outfits! (And who says baby boys don't get to dress up in cute outfits? They've obviously never seen my handsome baby!)

Family picture

LOVE this sweater! It has leather elbow pads too! My grandmother (Jackson's great grandmother) said that it looked like he was wearing a sock! :) Too funny! I thought he sure was handsome!

Too sweet! (Loving the pin-stripes Jackson)!!

Jackson must have been a REALLY good boy last year because he got way too many presents!!
He needed a little help opening his presents this year....but I have a feeling he will figure it out pretty soon!

He may have needed a little help, but he really liked the wrapping paper! He held on to this piece for the longest. I have always heard that kids seem to like the boxes as much or more than the gifts inside....just didn't expect it to happen so soon! :)

We played hard; napped even harder! It's a tough job opening all those presents!!

SANTA came to see us this year! I guess Pepper (our very own Elf on the Shelf) gave a good report this year!

"And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care...."
Even Mama and Daddy got goodies in their stockings this year!! (And yes...Jason did get Elf on DVD...Christmas classic!)

When Santa got here....Jackson was sacked out!

We had to wake him up to see what all Santa had brought; he was still so sleepy! (I have a sneaky suspicion that this is will be one of the very few years to follow that Jackson is not up before dawn checking on his loot)!

Checking it out! I think he likes his new toys....

Got a new hat! Ready for the snow we will see later that day!

My grandmother gave Jackson the most awesome horse! It makes horse sounds when you press it's ear and it even has a saddle! We are still working on a good horse name for it.....
Jackson was a natural in the saddle! He just leaned forward and rode that horse like he was an old pro! It was hilarious!!

Jason had his first "some assembly required" Christmas too. I told him it was just part of being a Daddy!

At least he had a really cute helper to help him "assemble" all of Jackson's new toys! (Check out Jackson's brand new hammer!)

Thanks so much to everyone who has wished Jackson (and his Mama and Daddy too) a Merry Christmas and shared the joy of the season with our family! But lets not forget the "reason for the season"! Even as Christmas is over for yet another year...let's keep the meaning of CHRISTmas in hearts all year long!

"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
Luke 2: 10-11
