Meet Jackson and Stone:

Our boys are the light of our lives, and we can't imagine life without them! They are so blessed to have so many people in their lives who love them unconditionally and we are just as blessed to be given the privilege to be their parents!

This blog is a chronicle of our boys lives. All the milestones, all the fun times, all the silly things they do, and all of their messes!

This blog is to keep everyone up to date and to document all of those memories of our lives together that we never want to forget!

Jackson's New Trick...

Jackson LOVES to get into anything and everything he possibly can. That boy just can't help himself to "investigate" everything he sees. He likes to check everything out....even if it takes him to some crazy places. We find ourselves trying to eat breakfast one morning and this is what ends up under the table! He is just the right height to still stand up under the table....at the rate he is growing this will not last long!

I am afraid my sweet little Jackson is going to be ALL BOY! He is always on GO! He is such a joy, but boy can he be a handful some days! When he wants to "check something out" he is relentless...you just cannot simply divert his attention like other babies. He knows what he wants and he wants it. :) As a result....he is quickly learning the phrase, "NO, no, Jackson!" :)

(His pj's say "Just LION around") Ha. :)

Funny story: (wish I had a picture) Jackson feels the need to "help" with the dishes whenever the dishwasher is open. By "help" I mean, try to pull things out of OR try to climb inside the dishwasher. He has been told "no" approximately a thousand times, and he knows he is not supposed to, but just can't stop himself from getting involved with the dishes. The other day, Jason was unloading the dishwasher when Jackson decided to join him in the kitchen. Sure enough, as soon as he realized the dishwasher was open, he went to business. Jason said he grabbed all of the sharp objects first and told Jackson "no" and moved him away from the dishwasher. But...as soon as Jason turned his back again, Jackson had pulled up on the dishwasher and had pulled a fork out of the utensil holder. He said he had that fork in his hand....just a waving it around....so proud of himself....but when he saw Jason he just dropped it! He said he just looked at him with this face that said, "What? I didn't do it! What fork? Oh....how did that get there? I had nothing to do with that!" :) It is so funny that he already knows when he is doing something he shouldn't! I think he is learning what "no" means for sure! He is just hilarious! :)
