Fun in the Sun!

We spent a beautiful, sunny, summer afternoon with some of our closest friends and the kids did some good playing in the waterslide and slip-n-slide! They had a blast!

Here are some pictures from the afternoon!
They are mostly action shots because they were too busy having fun to stop and smile!

Slip-n-slidin'

Everyone got in on the slip-n-slide action! Too much fun to watch!!
Jackson and Emily didn't do as much sliding as they did "run and fall down" but they had a blast!

Jackson and Maddox!

Get ready. Get set. GO!!!!

"What is it mommy? I want to slide!" :)

Waterslide time!!
We thought the "little kids" (aka Jackson and Emily) would just want to play in the pool parts, but we were SO wrong! They climbed up and slid down the big slide more times that I can count! They were playing long after everyone else started to give up on the water fun. We had to make them take breaks and stop for the day. They LOVED it!

Up they go!!

Jackson, Emily, Maddox, Ian, Bryce, and Eli (not pictured here) were all in on the fun!

Weeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Even though he loves the water - he still loves his racecars! Playing with the cars in the pool!!

Sweet Emily gave me a good smile or two!

Big smile!

Such a good time!

Even Addie came out to play! And Melissa finally got some good snuggles! :)

After all the fun, Jackson was pooped!
Napped a while (with his Dusty airplane)...so sweet!

And I got some good (and rare these days) snuggles from my baby boy! He's usually too busy to stop and snuggle with mommy these days!

A "BIG THANKS" to Melissa and the Wasson clan for inviting us over to play!
Jackson (and I) had such a fun time!

SIDE NOTE: Thanks goodness for Kid's Sport SPF 110 sunblock! No one (except Mama) got sunburned! Haha! And the worst part is - I sat under a tent the entire time unless I was snapping a picture or rescuing someone! Oh me.... :)
