Well, after years of dreaming and searching and looking - it finally is happening! We bought some land! And will be soon getting ready to start our move out of our neighborhood and into the country! I seriously was starting to feel like a dream we looked so long, but finally we found the place we have been searching for!
Halfway between Rosebloom and halfway between work and easy access to the Interstate to go see Granny and Poppa sits a beautifully hidden 45 acres of hay fields and trees! And a perfect place to raise a family.
With wonderful old pecan trees - and a perfect place for a tire swing!
And I'm not even sure why hay bales make me so happy! :)
Exploring the land, I found all kinds of beautiful nature. So far, we are loving country life!
And we found a hummingbird nest in our pear tree!
How cool is that?
We are getting ready to start building on the land - barn first and then house to follow a little later - and Jackson was his daddy's helper while surveying the barn lot!
And this is the reason we need to get this boy out of a neighborhood and into the country!
Country boy at heart! :)
