Meet Jackson and Stone:

Our boys are the light of our lives, and we can't imagine life without them! They are so blessed to have so many people in their lives who love them unconditionally and we are just as blessed to be given the privilege to be their parents!

This blog is a chronicle of our boys lives. All the milestones, all the fun times, all the silly things they do, and all of their messes!

This blog is to keep everyone up to date and to document all of those memories of our lives together that we never want to forget!

Emily's 2nd Bee-Day Party!

Emily's 2nd Bee-Day!

August 4th was Emily Reed's birthday and her birthday party! She is one of my good friends (and partner at work) daughter and she is 4 whole days older than Jackson! Not to mention she is as cute as can be! (see picture below) :)

Jackson was so excited to get to celebrate her birthday! I think this was officially is first friend's birthday party to attend!

The party started off with the huge water slide (minus the water)!

Jackson had a blast jumping up and down on the slide! :)

But...he plays by his own rulebook sometimes...he wanted to climb UP the slide and DOWN the stairs! Sometimes that caused a traffic jam!

He wasn't too sure about the slide down once the made it to the top the first time (it's pretty high), so he needed his Mama to come up there with him! I tried to tell him it would be okay...Emily seems to be having a good time with her sliding! :)

But....I eventually had to climb up there and slide down with him! :)

Looks like a slide, but it's really just the end of a big jump! :) He refused to slide down the way you were supposed to! Stubborn.

He did however try to climb UP the water slide. He made it almost all the way to the top too before he slipped off. Too funny to watch.

And Jackson liked the smaller slide too!

After sliding (and some lunch), Jackson made himself comfortable in Emily's chair and read a couple books. That boy really does love to read!

Next was...CAKE! That cake ball was delicious and shaped like a bumble bee!

Present time!! The big gift of the day was a new kitchen and all the kids had a blast with it!

I am pretty sure Jackson is saying to Emily, "Hey Good Looking, What you got cooking?!" in this picture! :)

Happy Bee-Day Miss Emily! Thanks for inviting us! We had a blast!

The birthday girl!

See...I told you she was precious! I just love her! :)

Disaster Area

Yep, that's my living room.

And, no...there was no tornado.

And, yep...I cleaned every toy out of that floor mere hours before these pictures were taken.

And, nope...Jackson doesn't like it when his toys are put away. He likes to be able to see all of them at all times. So much so that he actually got a toy box from his bedroom full of Legos and drug it into the living room then poured the contents into the floor.

Thanks Jackson. Thanks a lot! :)

And, yes...he has way too many toys!

"Reading" books!

Jackson is my little book worm. He loves a good book! Found him sitting ON the book basket, reading himself a story! He was pointing at the pictures and "reading" to himself.

Sleepy Head!

So....my boy kept me up all night last night! Like all night (see previous post: "This is why I couldn't sleep last night..."). He finally went to sleep about 10:00pm after much coaxing, but then woke us up about 1:00am. He dozed in our bed until about 4:30am (he slept; I did not) when he decided it was time to wake up!

Around lunch, we had just finished running a few errands and picked up a "Happy Meal" and headed home. I was passing my starving boy french fries as we headed home, then I look back there and see this...

Now, you know that is TIRED! Fell asleep with a french fry in his hand!
Poor guy...guess he might should sleep at night? :)

This is why I couldn't sleep last night...

So...it was a full moon last night. And, the full moon seems to make everyone act a little wacky. I know it brings the "crazies" at work, but it seems to make kids want to keep their parent's up all night too!

I'm sleepy!
Jackson? Not so much.

He better be glad he's so stinkin' cute!

Jackson's favorite way to snuggle.
Not sure how we always end up in this position.

My boy!

Mr. Bumbo Head!

You can't help but giggle! :)

Gotcha!

Chasing Jackson around the yard is good exercise! :)

Duck!

Jackson went and dug through the book basket and brought me these two books, flipped through the pages until he found what he was looking for, then pointed at the pages as said, "DUCK!"

He is one smart boy! Found two books with ducks all by himself!

Where is Jackson??

Where is Jackson??

There he is!!

Oh wait! Where did he go? Where is my Jackson!?

Oh good! There he is!! I thought I'd lost him!! :)

And...then he rolls in the floor!

He's so much fun! :)
