Meet Jackson and Stone:

Our boys are the light of our lives, and we can't imagine life without them! They are so blessed to have so many people in their lives who love them unconditionally and we are just as blessed to be given the privilege to be their parents!

This blog is a chronicle of our boys lives. All the milestones, all the fun times, all the silly things they do, and all of their messes!

This blog is to keep everyone up to date and to document all of those memories of our lives together that we never want to forget!

Tech-y!

My boy loves a remote. And he loves the computer! He's in hog heaven with all 3 remotes and the laptop! :)

Fun times!

Alivia took Jackson for a ride! Who says you can't have fun with just a blue crate, a pillow pet, and some creativity?! :)

Jackson's favs!

Jackson absolutely loves his green chair! He plays with it, sits in it, wrestles with it, puts his toys (and an occasional remote) in it, and has recently started to try to stand in it! He also loves his star blanket. He liked being swaddled in it when he was tiny, and now he likes to play with it. He carries it around the room, giving it hugs and covering up his toys with it! He was so stinking cute this morning playing with two of his favorite "toys" together. He would crawl up into his chair with his blanket and hug on it, then try to cover himself up. He kept getting hung up because he was sitting on the blanket so he had to stand up at one point and flop the blanket around until it was just right, then he sat back down. It was so sweet!

And pretty awesome, because I can just see him learning new things.

Thanks to Jackson's Granny and Poppa for his chair and blanket! They're a hit! :)

My boy loves to eat!

This morning, Jackson and I had breakfast together. He ate cereal (and dropped a good portion of it on the floor and in the seat of his high chair). When we were finished, I took his tray to the sink and let him down to play in the floor. I walk back around the counter, and this is what I see! My sweet boy...on his tiptoes...reaching for the food left in his seat! Oh my...

Funny story: When I have to open at work, Jackson gets to "school" (aka daycare) early enough to eat breakfast there. When I dropped him off the other morning, Ms. Lauren (jackson's fav) says to me, "I have to tell you a funny story about Jackson!" All I could think was "please don't be stealing more packs/getting in fights"...remember the biting incident from a few weeks ago? Anyway...she starts telling me how much Jackson loves to eat. She said a few days before, they had waffles for breakfast...and Jackson ate THREE helpings! When I asked her why they even gave him so much, she proceeded to tell me the story.... It seems as if my smart little boy would clean his plate (waffles are delicious!) and then try to switch out his empty plate with one of the other kids at his table's plate that still had food on it! No way! :)

What can I say? The boy loves to eat! And it seems that he rather enjoys himself a waffle! :)

He's going to eat me out of house and home. I can see it already! :)

Wagon Time!!

Driving through my neighborhood the other afternoon (headed home from work), and this is what I find coming down the road. Jackson LOVES to ride in the wagon....and from the looks of it, he talked his daddy into taking him on a cruise! Love it. :)

Jackson visits the pharmacy...

Jackson came to visit his Mom at the pharmacy today!
He got to meet a bunch of new people and "helped" my pharmacy staff! :)

Just call me "Skeeter Bite"!

Yesterday was the most pleasant afternoon we've had all summer, and Jason, Jackson, and I took full advantage of it! We rode in the wagon, played in the grass, visited with our neighbours, washed the car, and got eaten alive by mosquitos! My poor baby boy must be very tasty, because they LOVED him! Poor guy has 3 bites on his head, several on his arms, and several on his legs. Worst part is....we were swatting bugs off him all afternoon. I wouldn't have been surprised by a bite or two, but this is just ridiculous! He's got welps and bites from head to toe! Poor thing.

What a mess!!!

This is what happens when your sweet baby boy crawls in the freezer and "plays" with the baking soda! He seems pretty happy about it! (his parents: not so happy)
:)
