How in the world...?

How in the world....did you get in that basket?!?! I mean seriously, it's up to his chest when he stands by it! One second, he's playing in the floor; the next second, he's in the basket! He (somehow) got himself INSIDE the basket, but he unfortunately could not get himself OUT of the basket! :)

Amazing.... :)

Tent Time!

Jackson got a dinosaur tent from Santa - he and his daddy love it! This is how I found them the other night! Jason says they were learning "survival skills"! Oh my....  :)

I'm not sure which one of them was having the most fun! :) Jackson is so lucky to have such a good daddy!

I want CANDY!!!

In the check out line at Wal-Mart the other day, and we had to wait for our turn beside a big display of candy. Jason and I were talking and before we knew it....Jackson was throwing boxes of candy into the cart one after another.  I would put them back in the candy bin and then he would grab another box!

How in the world does a kid that has very seldom even eaten candy know to sneek candy into our shopping cart!? Oh boy....  :)

Help Mom!

Jackson and I went to Target the other day for essentials - you know diapers, wipes, etc. - and Jackson thought it was a good idea to keep sticking his thumb in the holes in the shopping cart! He would stick his finger in the hole and wiggle it around until it got stuck, then he would squeal and say "Maaammmmaaaa" until I helped him get it "un-stuck".

The first few times I thought it was an accident, but after the twentieth time, I began to understand it was intentional!

He is something else!! :)

Messy Eater! *VIDEO*

My mama (Jackson's Granny) says that Jackson is not a messy eater; she swears he is a perfect gentleman when he eats at her house. She informed me of this one night when we were discussing that Jackson REQUIRES a bath immediately after supper each night (because he is such a messy eater). I shot this video a couple of nights later to share with everyone how excellent Jackson has gotten at eating with his fork! :) Granny still swears he only does this at home...but watch the video and you be the judge! :)

Granny - I need some tips on feeding my sweet boy if this is what's going to happen when I feed him at home! :)

At least his messy eating habits ensure he gets a bath each and every night!! Bath time is one of his all time favorites! :)

Sign Language "Eat" - *VIDEO*

Jackson has been learning sign language at school, but the only word he seems to use frequently is "EAT"! He is such a smart boy, because he knows how to get the point across when he is hungry even if he can't always say the words!

What my sweet boy sign "eat" when I ask him is he hungry! If you listen close, he says the word "eat" as he is signing! My sweet, smart, hungry little man! Love it! :)

Now that was one good lunch!

Very seldom does Jackson ever give in to a nap without being coaxed. Very seldom does he ever just fall asleep, but this lunch was just too much for him to handle. He was out like a light! So sweet! :)

Rough Night.

One night last week, Jackson just couldn't sleep. He wanted to, but he just couldn't stay asleep. Jason and I tried everything, but we were exhausted (and both had to go to work early the next morning) so finally Jason turned on one of our many Veggie Tales DVDs and set Jackson in his green chair. Finally he was happy! Not very good middle of the night activities, but eventually you've got to sleep! Woke up to check on him a little while later and this is what we found!

Sweet kid!!
