Meet Jackson and Stone:

Our boys are the light of our lives, and we can't imagine life without them! They are so blessed to have so many people in their lives who love them unconditionally and we are just as blessed to be given the privilege to be their parents!

This blog is a chronicle of our boys lives. All the milestones, all the fun times, all the silly things they do, and all of their messes!

This blog is to keep everyone up to date and to document all of those memories of our lives together that we never want to forget!

Santa Visit: 2011

We took Jackson to go see Santa this weekend! Luckily there was not a lot of screaming, fussing, or tears (I wasn't sure how it was going to go this year)! He however did refuse to smile! His expression is priceless though! :)

Hope he asked for something good; and I hope for Jackson's sake Santa hasn't been paying that close attention for the past few weeks! Would be terrible to get switches and ashes this young! :)

I know I have said it a hundred times (or more), but it is just amazing to me how fast my boy is growing! Check out how much he has grown in almost one year exactly! Here's the blog post from this time last year....Jackson's First Visit with Santa! Crazy, isn't it?

Busted!

Jackson's daddy caught him like this the other day. And...no, this picture is not staged. Jackson crawled on the couch grabbed the remote, opened the laptop, and started "computing" before Jason knew anything about it!

Don't you love the expression? It says, "Oh NO! I'm busted!" :)

Hello. Hello?

"Dad. Do you mind? I'm trying to talk on the phone."  :)

(Thanks to Grannie...Jackson has his very own cell phone and he loves it!)

Daycare Incident Report: #4

Now this is getting out of hand! Well...actually this time it was on his hand!

Daycare Incident Report: #4 was to inform us that (yet again) Jackson was bit at daycare. I think it is a miracle that he has not turned into a biter after as many times as Jason has had to sign incident reports! The teachers swear it's just in their personality to bite or not; I sure hope they are right!

This time the bite was fairly minor...just a little red mark on his hand. He would not cooperate in letting me photograph this one, so the picture you get this time is the artwork going into the toddler room at the daycare. You think this room is known for biting?? Too bad for Jackson he was nicknamed "Juicy" by the daycare ladies early on...guess he tastes good too!!

Up to no good!

In one morning....all while I attempted to get dressed for the day!
I have my hands full for sure!
No wonder my house is always messy and I feel like I've run a marathon at the end of the day! :)

(Love every second of it though!)

And...no. I was not finished with my hairbrush yet. Caught him running it under the water (that he turned on) in the bathtub while I was blow drying my hair. Once he saw he was caught, he threw the hairbrush into the bathtub (now half filled with water) and ran!

This happened to my bedroom just moments after the "hairbrush incident"....why must he pull all of the clothes our of by dresser drawers?? Why is it so much fun? I wish I could say this was the first time he has done this, but it is not. To be honest...this was not the first time he had done this that day! Oh my...

Backwards Superman cape?
He thought it was so funny to wear my shirt around his neck all day. He would put it on...take of running...and just laugh! He's so funny! )

Boy oh boy oh boy! :) What did I do before I had him?? :)

Dancing in the rain... *VIDEO*

This one is for you Aunt Julia! :)

I've been trying to get this email to up for a couple of weeks now...but the file size was too large to upload. Luckily, I found a way to edit the video and at least give y'all a clip of my baby dancing in the rain!

I think he had a good time...what do you think? :)

FORT!!!

Jackson has such a good time playing "fort"....we build them all the time! Sometimes forts can be dangerous if you build them on hard surfaces...like say a wooden chair...we have learned this from (painful) experience! So be mindful of your fort-building components...or else! :) This one is made from the ottoman, couch, Jackson's chair, and all the couch pillows! Much safer. :)

And...yes. That is Jason's foot hanging out of the fort.
good is a fort if you can't get your Dad in there with you? :)
And...yes I know...Jackson seems to never be wearing any clothes. :) Usually it's just before or just after bath time or when the drooling has just gotten to be too much on the shirt he was wearing! Not to mention, I think he likes being naked. Well...I don't think, I know! He tries to run away after his bath without a diaper fairly often! :)

This NEVER happens...

Asleep while eating. Very very very rare occurrence. And there is still grilled cheese sandwich on his plate! How that's one tired baby boy! He barely even woke up when I cleaned his face and got the food off him so he'd be clean enough to sleep in his bed.

Can you say naptime!?!?

Think I'm gonna take a nap too....that should cut his nap short alright! :)

Trouble just waiting to happen!

Jackson has a new (slightly dangerous) trick. He likes to crawl inside the bar stool in the kitchen. Biggest problem is....well other than the possible bodily injuries that are bound to occur from this adventure...is that he can't get out once he's in there! Poor guy. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from our very sleepy boy!

And here are some examples of Jackson's Thanksgiving artwork! I think he's very talented!
