Left work early enough yesterday to make it to daycare by 6:00pm to pick up my sweet little boy. When I walked in the door, Ms. Lauren (one of our favs) walked up (holding Jackson) and said, "Well...I need you to sign your first incident report". My first response was "what did he do"! She then proceeded to tell me my sweet little angel had been bitten by another kid in his class (see teeth marks below). OH MY GOODNESS! The next thing she said was the "incident" happened while Jackson and the other unnamed child were FIGHTING! Yep. My baby was fighting at daycare. Why were they fighting you are wondering? Turns out Jackson and/or the other unnamed kid were fighting over the paci they stole from ANOTHER kid! OH MY WORD! NOTE: Jackson never used a paci...not for even one day. She also said the other kid never used one either, but evidently they both were intrigued by one yesterday. From what I can gather, it went like this...one of them stole the paci; there was a struggle over who gets the stolen paci; Jackson won the fight, but when he turned around, the other kid bit him on the back!
I simply cannot believe it!

SIDE NOTE: he's drinking really good from his sippy cups these day..we hope to be saying good-bye to a bottle in the very near future!
